    L’Organisation des Nations unies pour l’alimentation et l’agriculture (FAO) a publié, mardi 15 septembre 2020, un nouveau rapport sur les avancées obtenues à l’échelle mondiale dans la réalisation des objectifs de développement durable. Parmi les thèmes évoqués, l’agence des Nations unies se penche notamment sur la déforestation qui continue de progresser à travers le monde.

    La forêt a perdu "presque 100 millions d'hectares" sur la Terre en deux décennies, les superficies forestières ne "cessant de décliner", "quoique plus lentement par rapport aux décennies précédentes" et avec des tendances "opposées" selon les continents, indique la FAO dans un rapport publié mardi à Genève.
