A feasibility study has been worked out for an integrated advisory system for precision agriculture on the production of forage (grass and maize) for dairy farming in the Netherlands. Technology is not restrictive anymore to apply precision agriculture on important cultivation measures. It is now about achieving an effective integration of sensor data, models, metrics and equipment in a comprehensive advice system. It has been advised how a practical advice system for operational decisions can be realized on the dairy farm in the foreseeable future (
Verkenning toegevoegde waarde van data voor omgevingsmanagers : de integratie van ruimtelijke informatie t.b.v. de onderbouwing of objectivering van duurzame gebiedsontwikkeling
In het kader van de natte en droge infrastructuur, is duurzame gebiedsontwikkeling een complex samenspel tussen Rijkswaterstaat, provincies, gemeenten, waterschappen, marktpartijen en andere organisaties. ‘Deze partijen hebben verschillende belangen en werken vanuit hun eigen terrein aan een duurzame leefomgeving.’ Om dit proces te faciliteren is er binnen Rijkswaterstaat de tool Omgevingswijzer ontwikkeld, met als doel de verschillende belangen overzichtelijk in kaart te brengen en zo tot een duurzame oplossing te komen voor het gebied.
Perspectieven voor ecosysteemdiensten en natuur van een hoogwatergeul bij Varik Heesselt : een studie voor de NKN-casus Waterveiligheid Deltaprogramma
Doel van dit project is om aan de hand van twee pilots te bepalen wat de mogelijke economische en ecologische meerwaarde is van natuur-inclusieve oplossingen voor waterveiligheidsopgaven uit het Deltaprogramma en wat de meerwaarde van de TEEB-aanpak is in het planvormings- en besluitvormingsproces over deze maatregelen. Dit rapport handelt over de pilot “hoogwatergeul Varik-Heesselt”. De pilot was gericht op toepassing en evaluatie van de TEEB-methode. Het project is in nauw contact met de projectleider van de provincie Gelderland van het lopende planproces uitgevoerd.

Spatial modelling and ecosystem accounting for land use planning: addressing deforestation and oil palm expansion in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia
Ecosystem accounting is a new area of environmental economic accounting that aims to measure ecosystem services in a way that is in line with national accounts. The key characteristics of ecosystem accounting include the extension of the valuation boundary of the System of National Accounts, allowing the inclusion of a broader set of ecosystem services types such regulating services and cultural services. Consistent with the principles of national account, ecosystem accounting focuses on assessment of the contribution of ecosystem in generating benefits for human well-being.
