This Act shall not apply to rights and obligations governed by customary law of any person other than the State. This Act shall bind the State (sect. 3).

These Regulations outline rules of procedure for the development of all land to which section 2 of the Physical Planning Act applies. All applications for development permissions shall be made on forms issued by the local authority or liaison committee and shall be in accompanied by a certificate of compliance in the form as set out in the Schedule to these Regulations (reg. 4).
These Regulations list in the Schedule the prescribed bodies for the purposes of section 15(2) of the Cadastral Survey Act 2011. These bodies shall be exempted from payment of a fee for access to the digital cadastral database (DCDB).

This Act makes provision for trusts for purposes of sale of land, for powers of trustees for the sale of land and for other matters relative to the sale of land through the instrument of trust.The Act consists of 58 sections divided into 8 Parts.The Act introduces two forms of trusts for sale of land: an implied trust for sale and a statutory trust for sale.
This Act amends, among other things, the Land Act, 1999. Section 23 is amended by deleting word "two years" appearing in paragraph (b) of subsection (5) and substituting for it the word "five years." and a new savings provision in inserted. These Regulations provide for various matters in respect of authorization and registration of land valuation surveyors and the Valuation Surveyors Registration Board, so as to implement provisions of the Valuation Surveyors Act.
Article 1 of the principal Regulations is amended. Section 1 concerns the qualifications of sworn surveyors. A new comma is added.
