This Regulation 271 of 2016 amends various articles of Regulation 408 of 2015. It also supplements it by introducing ‘the electronic permits system’ as the basis of all state data on requests and permits. The electronic system is part of the integrated register for territory development and manages the interaction of all subjects involved in this process including the applicant, the authorities responsible for issuing the permit and other institutions obligated to give information or approval on the permits. Any subject applying for the permit shall do so through the electronic database.

This new Provincial Lands Act aims to modernize the legislative framework and provide better environmental. In particular, the Act provides for better protection for Crown land by investing the government with the ability to respond and take action when land is being misused, such as issuing immediate stop work orders. Act amending the Building Act.

The present Act introduces some amendments to the Building Act of 11 December 2008. In particular, the Act amends article 66 dealing with innovative snow makers and snow making facilities. The article establishes that snowmaking may only be carried out on frozen ground and operation of the system must not result in excessive or negligible interference with neighbors. Chemical and biological additives are prohibited. The operation of the snowmaking system must not interfere with the ecology and water balance, especially with regard to water supply.
