These Rules, which apply in relation to England and Wales, set out the written representations procedure or oral hearing procedure to be followed in respect of an application for a necessary wayleave or a reference for an order for the felling or lopping of trees or shrubs. The Secretary of State has power to grant a necessary wayleave to enable an electricity company to install and keep installed an electric line on, under or over any land in accordance with paragraph 6(1) of Schedule 4 to the Electricity Act 1989.

This Act makes provision for the management, development and protection of the forest resources of The Bahamas and for related matters.The Act consist of 36 sections divided into 9 Parts: Preliminary (I); Administration (II); Forest Reserves, Protected Forests and Conservation Forests (III); Protected Trees (IV); Leases, Licences and Permits (V); Forestry on Private Land (VI); Power of Officers (VII); Offences (VIII); Regulations (IX).The Act provides for the establisment of an agency in Government to be called the Forestry Unit.

This Act makes provision with respect to conservation of the forest, soil, water and other natural resources of Grenada. The Minister shall establish and maintain a Forestry Department within his or her Ministry, appoint forestry officers and generally promote the interests of forestry. The Forestry Department shall, for the purpose of implementing forest policy, plant, manage and use land vested in it or put at its disposal by the Minister.

Town and Country Planning Act, 1976 (Act No. 172).

This Act provides for town and country planning at various levels of administration.The Act provides for the establishment of a National Physical Planning Council and of a State Planning Committee which shall promote, regulate, control and advise on, the use and development of all lands in the State. The Council may form time to time establish a regional planning committee.The State Director shall make a development plan based on the review of existing developments in the State.

Order No. 106 on Standards of Good Agricultural and Environmental Condition (GAEC).

The Order sets out requirement standards for good agricultural and environmental conditions in order for farmers to comply with regulations on granted subsidy for land development, in accordance to the Rural Development Programme for the period 2007-2013. Criteria for being eligible to these subsidies shall be found in Appendix 1, with exception of 4.1 (Establishment and maintenance of vegetation on uncultivated land), 4.2 (Maintenance of vegetation on uncultivated land), 4.5 (Maintenance of vegetation on permanent grass areas) and 4.12 (Maintenance of vegetation on temporary grassland).

Le présent arrêté détermine les périmètres pastoraux de sauvegarde du cheptel en cas de disette ou de périodes calamiteuses et à leur ouverture au pacage. Les périmètres indiqués à l'article premier sont ouverts au pacage à partir de l'entrée en vigueur du présent arrêté jusqu'à la fin du mois d'août 2013.Toutefois, l'interdiction du pacage demeure en vigueur dans les périmètres où les arbres d'essences forestières plantés ou semés de main d'homme ou issus d'incendies ne dépassant pas un mètre de hauteur.

Regional Law No. 25 “On land reclamation”.

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of land reclamation originating in the process of realization of land reclamation arrangements, establishes plenary powers of state bodies, local government, natural and legal persons operating in the aforesaid sphere. The scope of land reclamation activity shall be to raise fertility and productivity of agricultural land. Land reclamation shall be classified as follows: (a) hydroamelioration; (b) agro-forestry amelioration; (c) land clearing amelioration; and (d) chemical amelioration.

Regional Law No. 475-OZ “On allotment of forest land plots to citizens for agricultural activity for individual personal needs”.

This Regional Law establishes that forest land plots granted to citizens free of charge or with the establishment of servitude for agro-forestry (haymaking, grazing, apiculture, reindeer ranching, growing of crops etc.). Land areas shall be established within the following limits: (a) arable land – 3 ha; (b) haymaking – 10 ha; (c) apiculture – 0, 3 ha; and (d) other agricultural activities – 5 ha. Citizens shall have the right to allotment of several forest land plots for performance of different agricultural activities.

Regional Law No. 441-OZ “On some issues of granting of forest land plots to citizens free of charge for the length of service for limited utilization”.

This Regional Law establishes that forest land plots granted to citizens free of charge for the length of service for limited utilization shall be allotted to forest officers and staff of state hunting organizations (game managers and gamekeepers) for agro-forestry (haymaking, grazing, apiculture, growing of crops etc.). Land areas shall be established within the following limits: (a) arable land – 3 ha; (b) haymaking – 10 ha; and (c) other agricultural activities – 5 ha.

Regional Law No. 1997-IV “On protection of green plantations in urban areas”.

This Regional Law regulates the issues of conservation, protection, management and reproduction of recreational forests in urban areas with a view of creation of favourable environment for the population. It shall also regulate the issue of afforestation and reforestation in urban areas. Regional executive bodies shall be responsible for education of the population related to management, keeping and reproduction of green plantations in urban areas.

Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation Order and Trees in Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2014 (S.S.I. No. 53 of 2014).

These Regulations amend the Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation Order and Trees in Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Regulations 2010 in regulation 8, which disapplies section 172 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 on protection of trees in conservation areas which are not subject to a tree preservation order. A new paragraph (1)(aa) provides that section 172 does not apply if approval is obtained under the High Hedges (Scotland) Act 2013.
