The present Act lays down provisions relating to public lands. The Minister shall have charge of the management, sale and disposition of the public lands and forests. For the purpose of the present Act “mines and minerals” includes gold, silver, copper, lead, iron and other mines and minerals, and quarries, and beds of stone, marble or gypsum. La presente Ley regula las condiciones básicas que garantizan la igualdad en el ejercicio de los derechos y en el cumplimiento de los deberes constitucionales relacionados con el suelo en todo el territorio estatal. Asimismo, establece las bases económicas y medioambientales de su régimen jurídico, su valoración y la responsabilidad patrimonial de las Administraciones Públicas en la materia.

This Act concerns laying-out and subdivision of land for purposes of local improvements in infrastructure such as water supply and sewerage. The Act shall not apply land of a certain size intended for cultivation or pasturage. Land on the foreshore shall be subject to limitations regarding laying-out and subdivision of land and decisions regarding laying-out and subdivision of land by a local Council may be revised by the Minister.

This Act concerns infrastructure improvements at the local level and related matters.The Minister may declare, by Order, special improvements (infrastructure) areas for purposes of this Act for lands intended for community development and subdivision for this purpose. Infrastructure shall include water supply and sewerage facilities. On land subject to an Order, no change to land tenancies shall be made. Upon the confirmation of an Order, the Minister may direct the compulsory acquisition by the Government of a leasehold interest in land in an area covered by an Order.

Aim of this law is the enactment of fundamental principles, the establishment of modern governing bodies, processes and means for land and spatial planning in order to promote sustainable development, guarantee productive and social cohesion, ensure the protection of the environment in the totality of the national territory and reinforce the position of the country in the international and European framework. The six chapters and 29 articles composing this law, set forth the characteristics that National Frameworks of Spatial Planning, general and thematic, must comply with.

This Ministerial Decree validates the form for land use plans containing spaces for the land’s location, cadastre number, total area, boundaries and map and for types of authorized land use.

This Act grants power to the Minister to declare an area where the government carries out improvement works to be an improvement area, to classify properties within such area and to impose a land improvement tax on such properties. Objections against classifications may be raised with the Commissioner of Valuations and appeal against decisions of the Commissioner may be had with the Review Board established under this Act.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to conditions of farmland in Upper Austria. Article 1 deals with land consolidations. With a view to create and maintain an efficient and environment-friendly agriculture, property rights, rights of use and cultivation in rural life may be improved or newly arranged by means of : 1) new divisions and development of agricultural and forest land; 2) merging agricultural and forestry industries taking into account modern agricultural and ecological factors.

This Code grants every citizen the right to a favourable environment ensured by sound land use planning through: (a) state regulation of land use planning activities; (b) planning of urban land; (c) compensation for damages resulting from violation of land use planning legislation; and (d) liability.

The present Law applies to land use planning of private and public parties in the whole of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. The text consists of 153 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Land use planning (I); Merger of building lands and alteration of borders (II); Expropriation and restriction of property (III); General construction rules (IV); Substantive guarantee, exceptions to general rules and construction outside building zones (V); Building police and building authorizations (VI); Transitional and final provisions (VIII).

The Parties have agreed to carry out cooperation in the following forms: (a) topographic, geodetic, cartographic and geoinformation activity; (b) publishing of maps, charts and other publications; (c) creation of databases on territory and land areas; (d) exchange of information; (e) joint research and development activity; (f) land use planning; and (g) exchange of experts.
