The present Ordinance ensures the implementation of the federal and cantonal land use planning and construction legislation. The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to land use planning in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. In particular, the plan contains provisions on nature conservation areas, nature preserve areas, protection of specific botanic specimen, protection of specific geological specimen. El presente Decreto reglamenta la Ley Nº 388 de 1997, precisando y reglamentando algunos aspectos relacionados con la revisión de los planes de ordenamiento territorial y la modificación de sus normas urbanísticas.

This Decree establishes that construction of the objects that are not corresponding to the purposeful use of land and terms and conditions of land allotment, and also without documentation attesting the right to land plot shall be prohibited.

This Decree establishes the modalities of delimitation of administrative and territorial boundaries, including mapping, calculation of the perimeter of boundaries, calculation of area of administrative and territorial units, and legalization of the boundaries. In the process of mapping the following boundaries shall be established: (a) administrative and territorial units (urban and rural areas); and (b) areas with special land tenure (protected areas, national parks, biosphere reserves, territories of cultural heritage).

This Regulation provides for the division of land into lots and common property, and for the administration of the land by the owners of the lots. It indicates the requirements relating to plans, and the provisions for the administration of community schemes.

The purpose of this Law is to promote coordinated urban and rural planning to balance the country’s development and to protect natural resources as well as cultural heritages, and maintaining local features and traditions.The Law provides detailed requirements and approval procedures with respect to the formulation and amendment of urban and rural planning.

The present Law implements various articles of the Federal Land Consolidation Act in its consolidated version of 16 March 1976 (BGBl. I p. 546). The Law establishes the competent authorities responsible for the enforcement of the above-mentioned Federal Act. Article 1 establishes that the authority in charge of the new land rearrangement is the State Ministry for Agriculture, Food and Forestries. The text consists of 20 articles.

This Law sets out provisions addressing rights to land ownership and the overall planning of land management and protection to help protect and develop land resources in a useful and sustainable manner.The Law states that all land in the country belongs to the State and to cooperative organizations, with no rights for sale or purchase.The State shall draw up and carry out a master plan for land development.

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Agricultural Soil Act of 4 October 1991. In particular, the Ordinance establishes the competent offices in charge of the enactment of the Federal Soil Act. The present Agreement constitutes a final settlement of the aboriginal rights of the Labrador Inuit in Canada and exhaustively sets out the rights of the Labrador Inuit that recognized and confirmed by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982. In exchange for the rights and benefits specified in the Agreement, Inuit will cede and release to Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador all of their aboriginal rights outside of Labrador Inuit Lands and Aboriginal rights related to subsurface resources in Labrador Inuit Lands.

The present Agreement outlines the relationships and obligations between the Iniut of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada. This Agreement – also referred to as Nunavut Land Claims Agreement - is a land claims agreement between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area (part of the Northwest Territories) and the Government of Canada subject to the Constitution Act of 1982. The lands are not deemed to be "Lands Reserved for Indians" with respect to the Constitution Act of 1867.
