This Act makes provision for the management and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Montserrat. It establishes the Forestry, Wildlife, National Parks and Protected Areas Board and the Environmental Fund. The Board shall, among other things, advise the Minister and review and revise the national forest, wildlife and national parks plan.

This Law provides for land use and development planning in Guernsey and control over development. Its purposes are to protect and enhance, and to facilitate the sustainable development of, the physical environment of Guernsey, to protect natural beauty to preserve and promote biological diversity. A Strategic Land Planning Group shall be appointed from various state offices and shall Strategic Land Planning Group be involved in the preparation or amendment of the Strategic Land Use Plan.

This Regulation, consisting of nine Parts divided into 60 sections, implements the Recreation Areas Management Act 2006 by providing specifications on the management of five recreational areas: Bribie Island, Fraser Island, Green Island, Inskip Peninsula and Moreton Island. The Regulation provides for permits required under the Act and prescribes restrictions on the use of vehicles, the taking of animals and plants and the depositing of waste into recreation areas.

The purpose of this Act is the establishment, maintenance and use of recreation areas, and to provide, coordinate, integrate and improve recreational planning, recreational facilities and recreational management for recreation areas.The Act consists of 12 Parts divided into 251 sections. Part 2 provides for the establishment of recreational areas and Part 3 concerns the preparation, contents and approval of management plans. Part 4 covers provisions regarding the access to, and permits for, recreation areas and Part 5 deals with commercial activity agreements for recreation areas.

This Decree establishes the modalities of land-use planning in urban areas. It includes also afforestation in urban areas. Land-use planning in urban areas shall be exclusive competence of the local self-government that must ensure organization and implementation of land-use planning in accordance with sanitary norms and regulations. Land-use planning includes creation of green areas, amenity forests and protection forests in urban areas. Deployment of waterworks and urban irrigation systems shall be integral part of land-use planning activity.

This Ordinance, made under the Land Planning and Development (Guernsey) Law, 2005, implements provisions of the Act by, among other things: giving definitions of selected development operations including operations in relation to conservation areas and operations in relation to protected trees; registration of planning applications and publicity of such applications; and material considerations in respect of selected matters including protected trees.

This Ordinance, made under the Land Planning and Development (Guernsey) Law, 2005, implements provisions of the Act in respect of development plans, subject plans and local planning briefs and related environment impact assessments. The Ordinance sets out various procedural requirements for the adoption of plans, including certification of consistency with Strategic Land Use Plan, and defines content requirements for proposals for the designation of a conservation area.

This Act principally amends the Planning and Development Act, 2000 so as to, among other things, change the list of legal acts of the European Union given effect to by the principal Act and to provide for a wide variety of environmental protection measures in relation with planning and development including protection of habitats, landscape, water resources and biodiversity. The Planning and Development Act, 2000 and the Waste Management Act, 1996 are amended in relation with protection of European sites as defined by the principal Act.

The present Law enforces the Federal Land Use Planning Act of 22 June 1976. The purpose of the present Law is to achieve a balanced and economical use of land with a view to the natural living conditions, protection of nature and cultural heritage. This Ministerial Decree regulates management of land under protected areas, recreational land and land of historical and cultural heritage. The aforesaid categories of land shall be covered by restrictions on economic activities that may have negative impact thereon. Land of protected areas and land of historical and cultural heritage shall be exonerated from payment of taxes and levies. Expropriation of land of protected areas, recreation and historical and cultural heritage for state and public needs shall be prohibited.

This Order amends the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 in Part 40 of Schedule 2 in relation to England only. The amendments concern installation of Part 40 of Schedule 2 installation of certain microgeneration equipment on a dwellinghouse or within its curtilage or, in some cases, blocks of flats.
