A Law to regulate the ownership and allotment of arable land in Georgia. All land is declared to belong to the national wealth and property of the republic of Georgia. Only citizens of Georgia have the legal right of ownership of land. State land is divided, according to the purpose it serves, in Land Reform Fund land and State Fund land. Citizens shall receive land plots without having to pay for it according to prescribes size standards. Wasteland shall, preferably, be allocated to persons wishing to cultivate the land.

La presente Resolución aprueba la operatoria para la provisión y aplicación de los incentivos que tendrán como propósito la recuperación de la productividad de los suelos, amparado en el Decreto Nº 24 del 8 de enero de 1997, cuyo ámbito de aplicación territorial comprende desde la V a XII regiones del país, incluida la Región Metropolitana.

La presente Ley, entre otras disposiciones, autoriza al Presidente de la República para que, dentro del plazo de ciento ochenta días, contados desde la fecha de su entrada en vigencia, dicte una o más normas con fuerza de ley para establecer un sistema de incentivos para la recuperación de suelos degradados y fije las sanciones para el caso de incumplimiento de los planes de manejo y de recepción indebida de los beneficios.

El presente Decreto con fuerza de Ley establece, por un lapso de 10 años, un sistema de incentivos que tiene por objeto estimular la ejecución de prácticas destinadas a la recuperación de suelos degradados, que son aquellos que por la carencia de fósforo, exceso de acidez, niveles de erosión, deterioro de la cubierta vegetal o por presentar otras limitaciones físicas, químicas o estructurales para su ocupación, no pueden ser utilizados eficientemente de modo sustentable en la producción agropecuaria.

This Order decrees to set up the Committee of Land Reform and Land Resources at the Ministry of Agriculture of the RSFFSR. The President of this Committee is appointed Chief Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the RSFSR.

This Decree-Law regulates the distribution of State agricultural lands. It consists of 25 articles establishing land concession requirements in order to develop and to improve the agricultural sector.

The purpose of this Order is to guarantee the accomplishment of the Presidential Decree No. 337 of 1996 "On carrying into effect the constitutional right of the citizens on land". This Order entitles the State Committee on Land, in accordance with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Justice, to validate the forms of contract dealing with the transfer of the land shares in leasehold to agricultural enterprises, farmers, to stock capital of the agricultural enterprises.

The Government decrees to validate the Agreement between the Russian Federation and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development concerning the land based credit for putting into effect land reform that was signed in Washington on 22 June 1994. The sum of the land based credit is 80 million US dollars. This Decree establishes that the restitution of the credit must be financed by the introduction of the special land tax.

This Decree establishes that for the period preceding the adoption of the basic land legislation, physical and juridical persons and public officials are committed to civil liability for the following offences in the field of land administration: for the infringement of legal and administrative procedures in urban construction documentation that caused land squatting; for the infringement in the use of land destined for environmental protection, national parks and recreational purpose; for irrational use of agricultural land and lack of protective measures for soil conservation; for dodging

The people's deputies are entitled to verify the results of the application of the Russian land legislation and to make up for the deficiency and drawbacks in the promotion of land reform in accordance with the local executive authorities and the representatives of the local branches of the Federal Committee on Land Reform and Land Resources and of the local prosecutor's office.

The President, for the purpose of promoting effectual land tenure, decrees that the priorities of purchase of the plots of land (or the shares of them), on which are situated previously privatized edifices, have physical and juridical persons that own these edifices. The Decree establishes that the property put on sale regards plots of land (or the shares of them) that had been previously conceded to a tenant or a leaseholder on condition of permanent (limitless) tenure, lifelong ownership with the right of inheritance or of limited tenure, including rent.

This Decision establishes the cases in which the contractual rescinding procedure for agricultural land concession will be started by the State. It consists of 6 articles specifying these cases and conditions to be satisfied for obtaining the contract renewing.
