The Principal Order is amended by substituting the word "Chairman" wherever it appears in the Order for the word "President". Paragraph (b) of subsection 3(1) is amended by inserting at the end of thereof the words "and educated to at least Cambridge School Certificate Standard".

The present Agreement - made under section 35 of the Constitutino of Canada - constitutes the full and final settlement in respect of the aboriginal rights, including aboriginal title, in Canada of Yale First Nation. For the purpose of the present Agreement “section 35 Rights of Yale First Nation” means the rights, anywhere in Canada, of Yale First Nation, that are recognized and affirmed by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982.

The present Act approves the enclosed Memorandum of Agreement of 24 March 1924 between the Government of the Dominion of Canada and the Government of the Province of Ontario. Section 1 establishes that all Indian Reserves in the Province of Ontario shall be administered by the Dominion of Canada for the benefit of the band or bands of Indians. Section 5 lays down provisions dealing with mining claims on behalf of bands of Indians.

The present Law applies to all expropriations carried out on the domain of the Canton. The expropriation right shall be enforced in the interest of the Canton, or part of it, or of local authorities. It can also be exerted for other purposes provided that it is in the public interest and also allowed by a Law or an Ordinance.
