La presente Ley tiene como finalidad la protección, el fomento y el desarrollo de las comunidades indígenas. El título II (arts. 12-22) se ocupa de manera particular del reconocimiento y protección de las tierras indígenas. A efectos de esta Ley son tierras indígenas aquellas que las personas o comunidades indígenas actualmente ocupan en propiedad o posesión históricamente, o bien en virtud de los títulos indicados en el artículo 12, así como las que los indígenas o sus comunidades reciban a título gratuito del Estado.

The purpose of this Law is to regulate relations arising from the matters of powers of the legislative and executive organs concerning ownership rights on state and local property, level of authority of a legal person with state property and its administration, principle and regulations of activity of an organ implementing policy on state property.

With a view to effecting the environmental protection of the bed of rivers and lakes, which dry up and become exposed as a result of a natural or man-made change in the former course of the river or surface of the lake, the statute reverses the rules governing ownership of newly-exposed river or lake beds (called riveraine and lacustrine "appurtenances"), which henceforth shall accrue to the State in lieu of the owners of riparian or coastal land.

Article 11 shall be amended to add the following wording: “establishes the modalities of allotment of water fund lands and lease thereof”.

The following Sections of the principal enactment are thereby amended: Sections 55, 63, 96, 101 and the First Schedule (minor amendments).

This Decree-Law, composed of 4 articles, amends parts of the Decree-Law No. 468/71 on the legal regime of land related to public domain water. In particular, it introduces a new version of articles 14 and 15 respectively dealing with areas under flood threat and the regime of adjacent domains; changes the position of Chapter IV (into Chapter V) and the numeration of articles 32, 33 and 34; adds a new Chapter IV on sanctions control.

This decree-Law, composed of 34 articles, regulates the legal regime of the land related to water pertaining to public domain, namely alves, waterfronts and adjacent domains. The Decree-Law establishes the general principles and definitions and regulates on private property located on those public areas, as well as the concession and licences regime.

La presente Ley tiene por objetivo primordial el mejoramiento de las condiciones de vida de las comunidades indígenas, mediante su acceso a la propiedad de la tierra y la asignación de los recursos necesarios para reactivar sus economías, la preservación, defensa y revalorización de su patrimonio cultural, su desarrollo social y su efectiva participación en el quehacer provincial y nacional.

El Código nacional de recursos naturales renovables y de protección del medio ambiente, consta de 340 artículos organizados en dos libros: Del Ambiente (Libro Primero) y De la Propiedad, Uso e Influencia Ambiental de los Recursos Naturales Renovables (Libro Segundo).

The Law provides for the institution of Municipalities, including villages and lands, for the appointement of a Municipal Council and for the functions and tasks involved, ranging from a cadastral register to the protection of agricultural production, sanitization, water supply and so on.

La presente Ley fija la clasificación de los bienes del Estado de Jalisco en bienes de dominio público y bienes de dominio privado. Se estiman bienes de dominio público: a) los de uso común; b) los inmuebles que el Estado destine para servicio del público o los que hubiere declarado por leyes especiales inalienables e imprescriptibles; c) las servidumbres en el caso de que el predio dominante sea alguno de los enunciados anteriormente.
