Regional Law No. 22 “On turnover of agricultural land”.

This Regional Law regulates some issues related to turnover of agricultural land, including agricultural land parcels and agricultural land shares in common ownership of agricultural land. It shall not be applicable to agricultural land parcels allotted to citizens for subsidiary smallholding, gardening, horticulture and cattle breeding.

This Regional Law regulates land tenure and land management and establishes plenary powers of public administration in this sphere. It establishes minimum and maximum land plot areas, pertaining to public and municipal land, that can be allotted in ownership to citizens for the following purposes: (a) for farming – from 5 to 300 ha; (b) for gardening – from 0,02 to 0,50 ha; (c) for horticulture – from 0,02 to 0,50 ha; (d) for animal husbandry – from 5 to 16 ha; and (e) for countryside housing construction – from 0,04 to 0,25 ha.

La presente Ley tiene como objetivo promover la preservación del uso de los terrenos dedicados a las actividades de producción primaria agrícola y pecuaria, en los que no se tomará en cuenta, para efectos de su valoración, la infraestructura agropecuaria y agroindustrial que posea dicho inmueble, al tenor de lo dispuesto en la Ley de Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles y sus reformas.

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the Canton Appenzell-Ausserrhoden. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure.

Immovable Property (Judicial Sales) Act (Cap. 94).

This Act concerns judicial sales of property including agricultural crop. It gives rules for the seizure and execution by way of sale. At any time, while the execution debtor remains in possession of the property seized, as judicial sequestrator, any creditor may obtain an order for the sale of part or of the whole of the crop of the said property. All sums of money which shall have been advanced by any sequestrator in accordance with the foregoing provisions shall be a privileged claim on the crop of the property.

Immovable Property (Transfer Restriction) Act (Cap. 95).

This Act concerns restrictions on sales and leases of immovable property to persons who are not citizens of the Seychelles. Lease or purchase by a non-citizen requires permission of the Minister. In considering such permission, the Minister shall take into consideration specified criteria including if purchase is in the interest of Seychelles. A transaction carried out without the sanction of the Minister shall be unlawful and void and rights that were subject of the transaction shall be forfeited to the Republic.

Clarification of Titles to Land (Deeds of Concession) Act (Cap. 35).

This Act provides that an original grantee and his or hers heirs and assigns who hold land in Seychelles under a deed of concession granted by the Crown before this Act shall be deemed to hold such land in full legal ownership as if under such deed of concession and said full legal ownership of the land had been transferred by the Republic for valuable consideration without any of terms and conditions. This rule shall also apply to and to any person deriving title from such original grantee or his heirs or original assigns.

Article 2 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Regional Government shall have the competence in determination responsible for management and governance of regional public land and also of plots of land pertaining to federal property administered by the regional administration due to transferred plenary powers by the Russian Federation”.

This Regional Legislative Decree, consisting of 3 articles and 1 Annex, establishes the ownership of the port infrastructure deployed in Funchal, Madeira called "Praça do Mar". It specifies the public domain of the Autonomous Region of Madeira of the above mentioned area, as well as the disaffection of the corresponding port use, the delimited infrastructure in Annex I, with exclusion of soil on which it is deployed and what constitutes public maritime domain. The ownership of the public maritime domain is now under the State, pursuant to Law No. 54/2005 of 15 November. .

This Law establishes the second amendment of Law No. 54/2005 regulating the title ownership of water resources. Amendments deal with the updating of its provisions concerning the requirements and dead lines necessary for obtaining the title recognition of internal land, borders of river or coastal areas related to marine or any other navigable water courses, with their respective beds, and even the banks belonging to public entities.
