The Act makes provision for various matters relating to customary land, private land and public land and powers of the Minister in respect of such land.The Act consists of 44 sections divided into 8 Parts: Preliminary (I); general (II); Private Land (III); Private land (IV); Customary land (V); User of land (VI); Trespass or encroachment upon, or unlawful occupation of, land (VII); Miscellaneous (VIII).A Corporation may hold land only with a license from the Minister (sect. 3). The Minister may dispose of public and customary land in accordance with section 5.

The present Act repeals Section 2 and amends Section 3 as per when it is not possible to serve the notice of eviction, this very notice may be exhibited directly on the land for all to see it and date of eviction shall not be set less than thirty days from being served or shown. The following Sections are added: Section 6A dealing with the timing for the application of eviction; Section 11A whoever re-enters in ten years time in a land from which he/her has been evicted shall be fined or jailed for the offence.

The Ordinance provides for the restitution of lands formerly owned by the State and unlawfully possessed or occupied. A notice of eviction shall be served to the persons occupying the land, complete with an eviction date by which they have to vacate the land. The evicted person may appeal against the eviction no later than six months since being served the notice itself.

This Act, consisting of ten Parts, applies only to the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Labuan and makes provision in matter of land family ownership as follows: Section 5: A marriage shall be solemnized in accordance with Islamic Law by the wali, the woman’s guardian for marriage, or his representative, in the presence of the Registrar. Section 8: The minimum age for marriage is set at 18 years for the man and 16 for the woman. Exception might be made where the Syariah judge has granted his permission in writing in special circumstances.

This Act, consisting of ten Sections and one Schedule, applies to Peninsular Malaysia only and makes provision in matter of land family ownership as follows: The distinction between wives and husbands in terms of the distribution of the estate of an intestate to the surviving spouse was repealed. Previously, a wife who survived her husband was entitled to only one-third of her husband’s estate but the surviving husband was entitled to his wife’s whole estate (13). Ley Nº 106 - Establece el impuesto a las transferencias de bienes inmuebles.

La presente Ley establece el impuesto del 2 por ciento sobre las transferencias a título oneroso de bienes inmuebles, sean estas mediante contrato de compraventa, permuta, dación en pago o cualesquiera otra convención que sirva para transferir el dominio de bienes inmuebles, y modifica el Artículo 701 del Código Fiscal.

La presente Ley instituye el sistema normativo que rige la delimitación, registro, adjudicación, uso y cesión de las tierras fiscales rurales provinciales y municipales en zona de frontera y los requisitos que deben reunir los programas y proyectos de producción, explotación y aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales allí existentes. A los fines de la adjudicación de tierras fiscales en zona de frontera se tendrán especialmente en cuenta las actividades agropecuarias forestales, mineras, industriales, pesqueras, turísticas, energéticas, sociales, urbanísticas y de conexidad.
