The Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) provides free internet access to Australasian legal materials. AustLII's broad public policy agenda is to improve access to justice through better access to information. To that end, we have become one of the largest sources of legal materials on the net, with over four million searchable documents.

These Regulations, made under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983, consisting of 117 sections divided into ten Parts and completed by seven Schedules, establish the provisions relating to land including the exemption of Aboriginal lands from the payment of rates; Local Aboriginal Land Councils; New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council; Investment of money in New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council Account; Honesty and disclosure of interests including codes of conduct; Administration of Councils; Dispute resolution; Land dealings, etc.

This Regulation implements the Act making provision for the planning of the Australian Capital Territory and the management of land in the Territory. The text of this Regulation consists of 410sections which are divided into 10 Chapters, i.e.: Preliminary (I); Strategic environmental assessments(II); Development approvals (III); Environmental impact statements and inquiries (IV); Leases generally (V); Concessional leases (VI); Controlled activities(VII); Reviewable decisions (VIII); Bushfire emergency rebuilding (IX); Miscellaneous(X).;

The major part of the provisions amend provisions of the Aboriginal and Torres Straith Islander Commission Act and insert new provisions in that Act in order to provide for the establishment of a Corporation and a Fund which are to assist Aboriginal persons and Torres Strait islanders in acquiring and managing of land.

Valuation of Land Regulation 2006.

This Regulation implements the Valuation of Land Act 1916 by providing specifications on the valuation related procedures, including refunds and objections. The object of this Regulation is to repeal and remake, without any changes in substance, the provisions of the Valuation of Land Regulation 2001.
