The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

La présente loi détermine le statut des Rois et Chefs, notamment les Rois; les Chefs de province ; les Chefs de canton; les Chefs de tribu et les Chefs de village Ils sont désignés suivant les us et coutumes dont ils relèvent et exercent leur autorité sur au moins un village. Par ailleurs, ce texte définit les privilèges; obligations, incompatibilités liés au statut des rois et chefs traditionnels. Cette loi institue une Chambre Nationale des Rois et Chefs traditionnels (CNRCT) regroupant l'ensemble des autorités traditionnelles susmentionnées.
Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Act, 2014 (Law No. 8 of 2014).
This Act, consisting of 25 sections, establishes the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Board as a statutory body which shall have the power to acquire, possess, and transfer both movable and immovable property. The general management and administration of the Board shall be entrusted to the Board of Directors.
Land Law No. 45/2013/QH13.
This Law prescribes for the land ownership, powers and responsibilities of the State in representing the entire-people ownership of land and uniformly managing land, the land management and use regimes, and the rights and obligations of land users over the land in the territory of Vietnam. The persons taking responsibility before the State for land use are: 1. The head of an organization, a foreign organization with diplomatic functions, or a foreign invested enterprise, is responsible for the land use by his/her organization. 2.
Governmental Decree No. 728 validating Program for the Development of the Regions to 2020.
This multi-lateral Program for the Development of the Regions to 2020 shall be applicable to the whole national territory and shall have as objectives creation of conditions for development of social and economic potential of regions, formation of rational territorial organization of the country, stimulation of population and capital in the centers of economic growth, improvement of territorial land-use planning, and efficient and rational provision of the population with potable water.
