The purpose of this Act is to support the decentralization process in general and capacity building of the districts, in particular with respect to the rural infrastructure development, and to improve rural accessibility.Village Development Committees shall be constituted as executives of the Village Council in village development areas, Municipalities shall be constituted as executives of the Municipal Council in municipal areas, and District Development Committees shall be constituted as executive bodies of District Councils in district development areas.

The present Law implements the Federal Water Association Act of 12 February 1991 (BGBl. I p. 405).In preparing the budget, the Associations must comply with the principles of efficiency and economy. The budget must include all incomes and expenses anticipated in the relevant financial year. For greater investments over several years, an appropriate plan has to be made. The text consists of 21 articles.

Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law rules that for management of waters belonging to class II in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, water management associations (water and soil associations) shall be established according to the Federal Water and Soil Association Act. The text – consisting of 7 articles - deals with the following issues: law to be applied, statutes, composition, functions, and financing of the associations. One Annex is enclosed.

The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. The present Ordinance applies to plants storing fertilizers containing nitrates.

This Act amends the Act containing rules regarding the emission of ammoniac from animal keeping premises belonging to the livestock sector in provisions concerning the granting of permissions pursuant to the Environment Protection Act as far as they concern the emission of ammoniac from animal keeping premises of the livestock sector. These amendments, among other things, appoint the provincial government as the authority to designate vulnerable areas for purposes of granting permissions and set out the criteria for such designation.

These Regulations make provision in respect of Scotland for certain aspects of a new scheme under Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for the remediation of contaminated land including land where controlled waters (including those used for the supply of drinking water for human consumption) are being affected by the land. Land shall be designated in accordance with these Regulations as a special site and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) shall be the authority responsible for enforcing the scheme in respect of such sites.

These Regulations amend the Radioactive Contaminated Land (Scotland) Regulations 2007 so as to apply the modifications those Regulations make to Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 regarding all radioactivity including circumstances where civil liability for damage to the land is regulated, for the purposes of the Paris Convention on third party liability in the field of nuclear energy, by the Nuclear Installations Act 1965 or foreign law.

These Regulations make provision, in relation to Scotland, for the identification and remediation of contaminated land under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

The object of this Act is to promote soil and water conservation by preventing erosion and thus conserving and improving the use of the State’s land and water resources.

The Regulation of the Ministry of Agriculture is composed of seven articles and one Annex. Agricultural lands in vulnerable areas are listed in the register of production blocks of agricultural sites identification system among groups with different level of restrictions of the application of fertilizers containing nitrogen.
