Article 1 of the principal Regulations is amended. Section 1 concerns the qualifications of sworn surveyors. A new comma is added.

Ce décret modifie le décret portant création et composition des conférences régionales de l'aménagement et du développement du territoire, prévues à l'article 6 de la loi nº 95-115 du 4 février 1995 d'orientation pour l'aménagement et le développement du territoire, en établissant des dispositions particulières pour les régions d'outre-mer.

This Notice requires a surveyor duly licensed as a surveyor under or by virtue of the provision of the Survey Act to always maintain the high standard of conduct appropriate to his or her professional status, and not conduct himself or herself in a manner that would, in the opinion of the Land Surveyors Board prejudice that status or the reputation.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Survey Act with respect to the Land Surveyors Board, the Standing Committee on Geographical Names, the examination and issue of licences, land survey operations, government land surveys and resolution of disputes.

This Presidential Decree establishes the competencies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

This Resolution, composed of one article and one Annex, approves the National Land Policy. In particular, it identifies the national priorities, and provides a classification of land use for agricultural, industrial and mining purposes. Moreover, it defines an implementation strategy and requires for significant changes in the current basic legislation on land.

These Regulations place size limits on rural land in ownership. Rural land is basically land other than urban land, communal land or land owned by the State, a statutory body or a local authority. For the purposes of these Regulations, Zimbabwe shall be divided into classes of Natural Regions, depending upon the average rainfall during a year and the rainy season.

These Regulations specify conditions and procedures for the sale of rural land by an owner of any such land, other than the State, a local authority or a statutory body. An owner shall not sell the land unless he or she has offered to sell it to the Minister and the Minister has issued the owner with a certificate of no interest or hasn’t responded within a given period of time to the offer.
