The vision of the present Scottish Forestry Strategy is that by the second half of this century, people are benefiting widely from Scotland’s trees, woodlands and forests, actively engaging with and looking after them for the use and enjoyment of generations to come. These Regulations make amendments to the Environmental Impact Assessment (Scotland) Regulations 1999, the Town and Country Planning (Development Planning) (Scotland) Regulations 2008, the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 and the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 following the establishment of Historic Environment Scotland by the Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014.
