This Act amends the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008 by making minor word changes to sections 12, 13 and 19 that provide for the appointment of authorized officers and their powers, powers of the District Officer and powers of entry and seizure.

This Regional Act sets up the Regional Agency on Forestry and Irrigation, which shall be responsible for implementing a coordinated system aimed at soil protection and forest management. The Agency shall also coordinate interventions concerning irrigation activities.

The Government may declare any area as a protected watershed area and the Watershed Conservation Officer may take within the area the measures established by the present Act for the purpose of soil and watershed conservation (e.g. construction and maintenance of waterworks, afforestation, planting of grasses or other vegetation, protection of forests, cultivation of crops and fruits, maintenance of the fertility of the soil, etc.).

An Act makes provision for powers of competent authorities (as designated by the Minister) in respect to irrigation works and other waterworks in water improvement areas and provides in general for the use of conservation of water and related matters.

This Chapter defines the duties of tenant for life, coterminous owners, two or more persons are associated by agreement in the use of an asset belonging to a property, etc. The owner of a life Estate shall be required to carry out duties defines in section 1 with respect to the estate. Neighbouring owners are mutually bound equally to maintain the boundaries, monuments and fences between them.

This Act, consisting of 74 sections divided into seven Parts and completed by six Schedules, makes provision for the tenure, management, and alienation of crown lands. "Crown lands" means land which is vested in the Crown, and which is not contracted to be granted in fee simple; and includes land granted in fee simple which has revested in the Crown by way of purchase or otherwise. Subject to this Act the Minister has power to manage and dispose of all Crown land. Land districts and parishes existing at the commencement of this Act are continued for the purposes of this Act.

La presente modifica la Ley que amplía los alcances de la Ley sobre disposiciones para la venta de tierras habilitadas de los proyectos especiales hidroenergéticos y de irrigación, en relación a las facultades otorgadas a los proyectos especiales hidroenergéticos.

The law regulates legal relationships between state bodies, natural persons and legal entities in the sphere of amelioration (art. 1). This law covers the following spheres: a) land reclamation; b) amelioration activities; c) flood (and other disasters) control measures on agricultural lands; d) amelioration associations (art. 3).

This Act provides for the establishment of the Muree-Kahuta Development Authority, defines its powers and functions and provides for its administration and functioning.Powers and functions of the Authority include: preparation, implementation and enforcement of schemes for development of agriculture and industry, forest conservation, preservation of wildlife, development of irrigation facilities, improvement of water supply, sewerage, drainage and environmental improvement; acquisition of property; and sale, lease or disposal of property.The Act further provides for: powers of the Authority

La politique de développement agro-sylvo-pastoral est marquée par le retrait progressif de l’Etat et est conforme aux principes de recentrage de ses missions sur des fonctions régaliennes, de poursuite de la politique de décentralisation, d’amélioration du cadre et des conditions de vie en milieu rural, ainsi que de création d’un environnement propice aux investissements privés en milieu rural. La réduction de la pauvreté est la principale priorité de la politique de l’Etat, en particulier dans les zones rurales.

La presente Ley amplía los alcances de la Ley sobre disposiciones para la venta de tierras habilitadas de los proyectos especiales hidroenergéticos y de irrigación, en relación a la ampliación del criterio de libre disponibilidad.

The Act aims at the protection and development of rural territories, giving particular regard to the protection of the environment and the rational utilization of water resources for irrigation purposes. The Region shall operate in conjunction with reclamation consortia (art. 15), whose main tasks shall be the planning, realization and management of reclamation and irrigation interventions. The Technical Committee on Reclamation is set up by article 7.
