Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment (ACODE) is an independent public policy research and advocacy think tank based in Uganda working in East and Southern Africa. ACODE was first registered in 1999 as a Non-governmental organization (NGO). In 2004, the organization was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee and without having a share capital. ACODE is one of the most dynamic and robust regional leaders in cutting-edge public policy research and analysis in a range of areas including governance, trade, environment, and science and technology.

The German Chapter of the International Association of Landscape Ecology (IALE) connects landscape researchers, planners, and other interested persons to support a scientifically and planning-related sound development of human-environment relations. IALE-D supports scientific principles of landscape science and sustainable landscape management, their application in practice, as well as the communication of landscape ecological questions.

A revista Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente é editada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento (PPGMADE) da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Os principais objetivos da revista são publicar artigos de qualidade sobre temas socioambientais nos âmbitos local, nacional e internacional e divulgá-los amplamente em vários circuitos acadêmicos. Agropolis International, formerly called Agropolis, is an association that was founded in 1986 by Louis Malassis and research and higher education institutes. It pools the scientific skills and expertise of the French Occitanie region in fields related to agriculture, food, biodiversity and environment. Its activities are oriented towards fostering the development of tropical and Mediterranean areas.

Journal of Regional and City Planning or JRCP is a tri-annual open access journal mainly focusing on urban and regional studies and planning in transitional, developing and emerging economies. JRCP covers topics related to the sciences, analytics, development, intervention, and design of communities, cities, and regions including their physical, spatial, technological, economic, social and political environments.

Land Use Policy is an international and interdisciplinary journal concerned with the social, economic, political, legal, physical and planning aspects of urban and rural land use. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information from the diverse range of disciplines and interest groups which must be combined to formulate effective land use policies.
