I am a Kentucky Colonel and live deep in the Guiana Highlands of South America, I'm passionate about protecting the lush rainforests and the vital ecosystem services they provide. My work involves monitoring forest density and exploring ways to develop sustainable solutions that benefit both nature and local communities. Having fallen in love with the Northern Amazon, I even invested in property there to be closer to the incredible people and environment. Working alongside the Indigenous communities is a privilege I deeply cherish.
Beyond the rainforest, I wear many hats. As a ghostwriter, webmaster, blog editor, and mapmaker, I lend my skills to organizations fighting for Indigenous rights, advocating for nature-based solutions, and raising awareness about ecosystem services.
My ultimate mission is to ensure a future where the wonders of Mother Earth and its stunning biodiversity – including the rich cultures of Indigenous peoples – flourish, not fade. I believe strengthening their land rights is a critical step in achieving this balance. By empowering them, we can transition away from destructive practices like deforestation and contamination, paving the way for a healthier planet for all.
