Biography:
Doctoral researcher at the Department of Land Economy & a member of Fitzwilliam College. He is the founding Director of the African Contemporary Institute of Design (Nigeria & Uganda). He is an Architect, Planner and a Development Economist. He holds multiple postgraduate degrees in Design and Innovation, Sustainability Economics, Architecture and Management. Stephen is broadly interested in the political economics of conflict in cities with overlaps in architecture, planning, finance, circular economy and sustainable development.

Research inclinations include conflict-driven migration in sub-Saharan Africa. The impact of conflict on markets. Internal displacement, returning and integration. Global ans African conflict theory. Spatial analysis of conflict in sub-Sharan African cities using Artificial Intelligence (neural networks), Agent based Modelling and GIS
