Mr. Nizam HusenAbdu
Currently, there are many investement projects that are approved but not implemented, implemenetd and suspended in Ethiopia. At the time, recently the Ethiopian government has proposed new master plan for the capital which may grab about 1.2 million hactors of land and displaces millions of farmers living around the capital. On the other hand, the Ethiopia government has approved the land right of farmers and much more documentation have been done it.
Therefore, it is interesting to see beyond the windon and investigate the effects of both investments and th new master of the capital on the livelihood of the farming community. Because, action one could find in both investment and the master plan might contradict with what the government has been propagating.
