The present Ordinance enforces the Land Use Planning and Building Law of 14 May 1987. Land consolidations shall be effected in view of building land, land not designed as such shall be re-allocated. The text deals with the following aspects: definition of terms, sphere of application, cooperatives, purpose of land consolidation, survey, principles of allocation, costs, administrative proceedings, legal protection and entry into force. The text consists of 35 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: Land consolidation (I); Boundary adjustment (II); Final provisions (III).

The present Law enforces the Federal Agricultural Soil Act of 4 October 1991. In particular, the Canton promotes the efforts of the federal government to maintain an efficient agriculture according to the federal rural soil legislation and shall take the necessary measures for its implementation. The text – consisting of 8 articles – deals with the following aspects: principles, sphere of application, duties of alpine cooperatives, duties of land registry office, cantonal right of pre-emption, cottages, local courts and entry into force.

The aim of this Proclamation is to improve management and utilization of land and land resources for agricultural purposes. It applies to all land that lies outside of municipal borders. The Proclamation defines the right to acquire, free of charge, rural land by adult residents of the region, whose livelihood depends on agriculture, and other subjects. It also defines land use rights of peasants, pastoralists and semi-pastoralists and provides for the protection of such rights.

This Act concerns rights of persons entitled in possession to land under a contract of tenancy whether express or implied. It provides protection of such rights. It does not apply to a tenancy of agricultural land.The Act provides for conversion of tenancies to which this Act applies subsisting immediately before the appointed day shall as from the appointed day in a statutory lease for the purposes of this Act. It also provides for an option to purchase the land under tenancy by the tenant.

These Regulations prescribe forms for purposes of the Land Tenants (Security of Tenure) Act and provide that a landlord or a tenant may require a written memorandum of statutory lease in case of continuance of such lease. A memorandum of lease shall be in the form as prescribed in the Schedule to these Regulations and non-fulfilment of the requirements shall constitute an offence. Forms in the Schedule include also: a tenant's or landlord's notice and notification under section 9 of the Act; a tenant's notice under section 4 of the Act.

La presente Resolución aprueba el procedimiento para la actualización de los títulos de propiedad y su inscripción en los registros de la propiedad, cuando existan errores u omisiones relativos a los elementos de la descripción y tasación, no se establezcan las medidas y linderos, o sea necesaria su rectificación o ajuste; se realicen acciones constructivas internas que modifiquen la descripción de la vivienda; y no coincida la realidad física con la reflejada en el título de propiedad.

Measures for the investigation and handling of disputes over land title.

These Measures are made to improve the investigation and handling of disputes over land title, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties concerned and to safeguard the public ownership of land.The land and resources administrative department at or above the county level shall be responsible for investigating and mediating the cases on disputes over land title.

The present Regulation provides for the enactment of the Public Land Act. The Regulation focuses on three key themes: land management, compliance and enforcement, appeals and dispute resolution. The Regulation applies to provincial land managed by Sustainable Resource Development under the Public Lands Act. The new rules around recreation apply to vacant public land not held under a disposition that offers exclusive use. The Regulation does not apply to parks/wilderness areas (managed by Tourism, Parks and Recreation) or lands managed by Transportation or Infrastructure.
