The present Law implements, inter alia, the Directive 2006/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on energy end-use efficiency and energy services of 5 April 2006. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to building technology and building equipment, as well as to special environmental, health and energy requirements of buildings. Furthermore, the Law also applies to parcel of lands and other constructions and facilities subject to requirements of the present Law.

In particular, the Law aims to ensure a rational and economical use of building land with a view to comply with safety, hygienic and traffic regulations, as well as with nature and cultural heritage protection regulations. The present Regulation is made under the Land Title Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the subdivision of land. Section 1 establishes that the approving officer may refuse to approve the subdivision plan, if he considers that it does not provide access to the land in the subdivision, or lands dependent upon the subdivided property, or land dependent upon the subdivided property for its sole access by means of an adequate road allowance for a frontage road, service road or local street. The text consists of 2 sections.

The present Act provides for the subdivision of land or the reconfiguration of any privately titled lot. This includes dividing land into additional parcels, combining two or more lots into one, lot enlargements, making boundary adjustments, condominium surveys and in some cases, long term leases. Whoever proposes such a subdivision must apply to the approving officer for approval of a plan of subdivision in the manner prescribed by the Regulations. Also the creation of a new parcel of land from unsurveyed Yukon Land needs a subdivision approval. The text consists of 27 sections.

The present Act establishes that a registered owner, a municipality where the land is located, or any other person claiming an interest may apply to the Court of Queen’s Bench for an order to subdivide land. This Act applies also when two or more persons engaged in farming operations have a tenant in common title, or when a single owner actually holds the title for persons jointly engaged in farming operations of that land. The Act consists of 11 sections.

This Order amends the Partition Act in section 14(1) so as to amend the monetary jurisdictional level of Resident Magistrates Courts. Section 14 defines jurisdiction that may be exercised by any Resident Magistrate’s Court. Such jurisdiction is limited by a maximum amount of the value of the property in question.
