The South Sudan Development Plan (SSDP) 2011-2013 is a national planning instrument adopted by the Government as a response to core development and state building challenges during the first three years of independence. It is based upon the theme of realising freedom, equality, justice, peace and prosperity for all. The plan identifies key development objectives for the new Republic of South Sudan and outlines priority programmes for achieving these objectives.

This Act empowers local authorities in England and Wales to include in their development plans policies that impose reasonable requirements regarding use for development of low-carbon energy and energy from renewable sources or meeting energy efficiency standards. These Regulations amend the Environmental Impact Assessment (Uncultivated Land and Semi-natural Areas) (Wales) Regulations 2002 so as to implement Directive 2003/35/EC providing for public participation in certain environmental decision making. Amendments concern, among other things, disclosure of environmental information, assessment of projects and requirements relating to projects in Wales which may affect the environment in other EEA States and vice versa.

This Decree sets forth provisions on efficient use of land for all land owners, users and lessees, soil operations, protection of environment, soil protection, improvement of natural and man-made landscapes, scientific research and sustainable development.
