This paper reviews the formal treatment of land rights in Afghanistan over the post-Bonn decade (2002 - 2012). The objective is to document the developments in the recent past to better understand present and possible future trends.

Cutting a total land of 4,540.26 hectares in Prey Aovmal village in Sangkat Roleab of Pursat city, and Roveang village in Samroang commune of Phnom Kravine district in Pursat province: 1,709.32 ha from 2002 Forest Cover; 2,565.19 ha from economic land concession of Pheapimex; and 265.75 ha from forest concession of Yuri Sakor; and Reclassifying 2,861.67 ha as state private land for granting donation of ownership to 1,165 families, and Reserving 1,678.59 ha as state public land.

Cutting 3,613.0719 hectares of land in Chhouk district of Kampot province: (1) 3,462.3541 hectares from 2002 Forest Cover, and (2) 150.7178 hectares from economic land concession of World Trist Entertainment (Cambodia), and reclassifying 3,172.8332 hectares as state private land for granting donation to 1,134 families and reserving 440.2387 hectares as state public land in Prey Peay village of Trapeang Pleang commune in Chhouk district.

Cutting 3,462 ha in Thlok village of Banteay Chhmar commune in Thmor Pourk district of Banteay Meanchey province: 1,874 ha from Banteay Chhmar Nature Conservation Area, and 1,588 ha from ELC of Chhun Lim Group; Reclassifying unspecified size of land as state private land for donating to 1,519 families; Reserving unspecified size of land for public interest use.

Cutting 4,938 ha of land in Chhneng village of Sre Khtum commune in Keo Seima district of Mondulkiri province: 59 ha from Snoul Wildlife Sanctuary, 295 ha from ELC of Sovann Reachsey, 2,567 ha from ELC of Retthy Kiri Seima, and 2,017 ha from SLC program; Reclassifying or/and donating 4,302 ha to 1,294 families; and Reserving 636 ha as state public land.

Cutting 520.1717 ha of land in Kreang village of Keschong commune in Bor Keo district of Ratanak Kiri province from ELC of Chea Chanrith company; Reclassifying 500.0596 ha as state private land for granting donation of ownership to 107 [105] families; Reserving 20.1121 ha for population growth and physical infrastructure development; and Granting rights to 177 private land parcels.

Cutting 258.1733 ha of land in Kachok village of Kok commune in Bor Keo district of Ratanak Kiri province from ELC of Chea Chanrith company; Reclassifying 246.6923 ha as state private land for granting donation of ownership to 57 [53] families; Reserving 11.4810 ha for population growth and physical infrastructure development; and Granting rights to 71 private land parcels.

Cutting 486.3813 ha of land in Lae village of Lomchoi commune in Oyadav district of Ratanak Kiri province from ELC of Chea Chanrith company; Reclassifying 464.9366 ha as state private land for granting donation of ownership to 104 [102] families; Reserving 21.4447 ha for population growth and physical infrastructure development; and Granting rights to 172 private land parcels.

Urban LandMark visited DFID London from 12 to 13 November 2012 to present the organisation' s recent work on and approach to improving access to urban land and property rights.The main objective of the visit was to showcase Urban LandMark's work, impact and lessons learnt over the last seven years to a broader, more global audience, as well as to a larger audience within DFID, Urban LandMark's main funder over the past six years.
