These Rules prescribe the procedure to be followed in connection with the examination of an application for development consent by a Panel, or a single Commissioner, or the Secretary of State following a direction under section 112(1) of the Planning Act, 2008 and concerns also compulsory acquisition of land.

This Act, consisting of 29 sections and completed by three Schedules, approves an Agreement, subject to ratification by the Parliaments of the States of New South Wales and Queensland. This Ordinance establishes the National Trust as a body corporate. The Trust shall safeguard the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the Turks and Caicos Islands through the preservation of areas, sites, buildings, structures and objects of cultural, historical or natural significance. It may, among other things, engage in programmes to preserve and propagate wildlife. The Trust shall be managed by the Trust Council, which may establish district and special committees.

This Act constitutes the Commission in accordance with the Constitution and provides for its structure, operations, administration, functions and powers. In addition to the functions set out in Article 234 of the Constitution, the Commission shall: (a) formulate policies necessary for the achievement of its mandate; (b) provide strategic direction, leadership and oversight to the secretariat; and (c) do all such other things as may be necessary for the effective, discharge of its functions and the exercise of its powers.

This Act: grants power to the President of South Africa to establish lake areas by Proclamation; establishes the Lake Areas Development Board for purposes of management of lake areas established under this Act; defines regulation-making powers of the Minister; and provides for other matters relative to the control and management of lake areas and the Board.The object of the Board shall be to control, manage and develop any State land situated within any lake area.

This Decree states that carrying out state cadastre of protected areas and objects aims at a) strengthening state control and protecting natural reserve fund, b) preparing plans for economic and social development, land management, urban planning and environmental expertise, and c) data collection and systematization, analysis of the efficiency of the current situation and provide information for national, regional and local authorities, ministries, organizations and other real and legal persons.

The purpose of this Act is to prescribe basic matters regarding the designation and management of zones, districts, etc. in relation to the use of land to ensure transparency in the regulation of land use, thereby to reduce the inconvenience of citizens in land use and to contribute to the development of the national economy. In particular, article 15 establishes the Deliberative Committee on the Regulation of Land Use.
