The partnership between Indonesia and FAO began with the country’s membership of the Organization in 1948 and was strengthened with the opening of a country office in 1978. Over nearly 70 years, hundreds of FAO development and emergency programmes have successfully supported the country’s food and agriculture sector, including fisheries and forestry.

Slovakia joined the Organization in 1993. During the 1990s FAO assistance in the country was focused mainly on forestry and integrated pest management (IPM). The Organization also provided technical support for the development and harmonization of national policies, particularly in the area of forestry and agriculture.

La coopération entre la République du Congo et la FAO s’est développée régulièrement depuis l’ouverture de la Représentation en 1977. En 2013, ils ont élaboré leur premier document conjoint de programmation pour la période 2013-2016.
