This Ordinance provides rules relative to the subdivision of land and relevant titles in such divided land and common property. It prescribes that land, including the whole or a part of a building, may be subdivided by registering a strata plan in the manner provided by or under this Ordinance. The proprietors of strata lots contained in a strata plan, shall, upon registration of the plan, become a body corporate. The Ordinance sets out duties of a corporation and defines requirements of a strata plan. Strata plans may be unified.

This Law establishes the conditions and the modalities of realization on investment activity aimed at building of the plots of land, for completion of unfinished constructions, reconstruction of edifices, their parts belonging to St.Petersburg for the purpose of profiting when the result is creation of immovable property. Article 7 establishes that investment prospect must contain the obligation of a potential investor to pay the services of the preparation of urban construction and land surveying documentation.

This Code embraces an extremely comprehensive range of issues relating to land use and management.

This Act provides for the urban and not only land development in Singapore, the responsibilities of the land tenants and owners, the planning of construction, restoration or building activtities, the imposition of land fees for the further use and exploitation of land in the territory of Singapore.

The present Law implements the Federal Act on the acquisition of land by persons abroad of 16 December 1983. Article 6 establishes that the acquisition of land shall be authorized if this serves as principal residence. The present Law lays down provisions relating to land survey, running of the land registration, land use planning and land rights. The President, for the purpose of ensuring turnover of the plots of land situated on the territory of urban and rural settlements and till the adoption of the respective federal law, decrees to establish that the plots of land situated on the territory of urban and rural settlements, destined in accordance with land use planning documentation for construction, or the right of lease of the aforementioned plots of land must be sold to natural and legal persons through tenders if otherwise is not envisaged by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

This Act lays down guidelines for the creation of strata titles and it shall apply only to registered land. Every original proprietor of land may subdivide that land into stratum estates upon certification of a strata plan by the Commissioner. Requirements for strata plans, units and common property are provided for in the Act. On the certification of a strata plan by the Commissioner, the original proprietor of the lot to which the plan relates shall become a strata corporation.
