This document lists the lessons learned, achievements, and challenges experienced by the Saameynta Joint programme (henceforth Saameynta) related to establishing durable solutions for internal displacement. 

Sud-Cameroun Hévéa (“SudCam”), a giant monoculture rubber plantation and a Cameroonian subsidiary base of Halcyon Agri Corporation Limited (“Halcyon Agri”) has come under intense scrutiny and criticism due to the severe human rights violations and threats to biodiversity inflicted upon the surrounding Indigenous Peoples, local communities and workers.

The context of Nyanza-Lac is both complex and interesting for researching land issues. It has a very high population density (more than 50% of the whole population of Makamba Province lives in Nyanza-Lac) and attracts flows of intra- and interregional migrants in search of fertile land and income-generating opportunities in the area.

The longitudinal study aims to delve into the link between displacement patterns and land governance in Somalia, as well as the impact of the solutions that are currently being used to address displacement in the context of the UN-led Saameynta program.

Este estudio buscó constatar en qué medida la producción de biodiésel y etanol podría contribuir a las necesidades de sustitución de las importaciones de combustibles y cuáles serían los potenciales impactos sobre la seguridad alimentaria en Bolivia. Para ello, se tomó como escenario prospectivo el periodo 2024-2030, basado en el análisis del periodo histórico 2005-2023.

Abstract

The baseline study aims to generate the baseline data on the Amahoro-at-Scale project’s main indicators, which will serve as reference for the mid-term and final evaluation. The baseline study should help set more realistic targets for the indicators. 

The Amahoro-at-Scale project is part of the larger LAND-at-Scale programme, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by its Enterprise Agency (RVO).

Country Forest Notes (CFNs) are a centerpiece of the World Bank Group’s Forest Action Plan (FY16–20) and Climate Change Action Plan (2016–2020). They provide a thorough assessment of the current status of forests, the forestry sector, and the investment needs to sustainably manage this valuable renewable natural resource.
