Chief of the Federal Committee on Land Resources and Land Survey, for the purpose of permanent interaction between the Federal Committee on Land Resources and Land Survey, Territorial Committees on Land Resources and Land Survey with the local administration and qualitative improvement of normative legal acts concerning competence of the local administration in the sphere of land relations under elaboration, orders to entrust from the 1st of June 1996 Land Use Department of the Federal Committee on Land Resources and Land Survey with the functions of interaction with the local administration including elaboration of normative legal acts concerning improvement and development of land relations on the territories under the jurisdiction of the local administration. Chiefs of the Territorial Committees on Land Resources and Land Survey must entrust one its existing divisions with the functions of interaction with the local administration or, in case of financing out of provincial budget, one of independent divisions; to compel district (city) committees on land resources and land survey to strengthen interaction with the local administration in the sphere of land relations and their legal backing.
