Privatization of agricultural land belonging to state or municipal property on the regional territory begins from the date of entry into force of the present Regional Law. Minimum size for the newly formed plots of agricultural land for grain production is 300 hectares, for other agricultural purposes is 1 hectare. The Regional Law consists of 9 Articles. Article 1 determines the beginning of the privatization of agricultural land. Article 2 establishes the utmost size of the plots of agricultural land on the regional territory. Article 3 determines the modalities of purchase and trade of the plots of land and land shares in common property of agricultural land. Article 4 envisages the cases of concession on lease or into ownership of the plots of land out of the stock of land destined for re-distribution to physical or juridical persons with or without compensation. Article 5 determines the conditions and the modalities of expropriation of the plots of agricultural land in case of its improper use. Article 6 regards financial backing of the turnover of agricultural land on the regional territory. Article 7 regards media coverage of the turnover of agricultural land on the regional territory. Article 8 lays down the final provisions. Article 9 determines the modalities of entry into force of the present Regional Law.
