This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of the Thai Binh province. This plan, among other things, shall closely combine socio-economic development with protection of the eco-environment and reasonable and effective exploitation of natural resources.The plan includes the following development orientations: agriculture, forestry and fishery development; the building and expansion of the water supply network; the building and upgrading of water drainage networks; environmental protection and conservation and maintenance of urban and rural sanitation; and land use and urban planning.

Repeals: Decision No. 262/2006/QD-TTg approving the master plan on socio-economic development of Thai Binh province up to 2020. (2006-11-14)
