The present Regulation enforces the Agricultural Operation Practices Act. At the outset the Regulations contains the definition of certain terms such as, “aquifer”, “catch basin”, “common body of water”, “groundwater resource”, “liquid manure”, “private land”. Part 1 lays down provisions relating to standards applying to the owner or operator of a confined feeding operation for which an approval, registration or authorization is required under the afore-mentioned Act. Moreover, this Parts deals with manure storage and nutrient management. Part 2 concerns general administration matters. The text consists of 30 sections divided into 2 Parts and 3 Schedules.
