This Regional Law regulates some issues related to turnover of land parcels and land shares in common property concerning agricultural land. Maximum land area of agricultural land that can be allotted to a single natural of legal person on the territory of a municipal district shall be 10 percent of the total available agricultural land. Minimum land area of agricultural land allotted to production of agricultural commodities shall be 70 ha. Agricultural land parcels and agricultural land shares in common property that cannot be owned by natural or legal persons must be bought back by the regional administration at market price. In case of non-purposeful use of agricultural land by tenants or owners for the period of three years it shall be subject to expropriation by the regional administration or by local self-government.
