Micah Ingalls, PhD, is the Team Leader of the Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) Project, which aims to improve the land tenure security of smallholder farmers in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam by supporting reforms in policy and the practices of the public sector. Rooted in the belief that collaborative action across stakeholder groups is necessary to enact equitable reform, MRLG works through national and regional alliances to bring about transformation change. With nearly two decades of experience in the Central, South and Southeast Asia, Micah brings a wealth of experience in the fields of resource governance, conflict management, and climate action. Prior to joining MRLG, Micah worked for the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) of the University of Bern, FAO, UNDP and WWF, among others. Micah holds a PhD from Cornell University in the United States. He is the son of a smallholder farmer and the father of six.
