(Tanzania): .The overall objective of the Feed the Future Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance activity (LTA) is to reduce land tenure-related risks and lay the groundwork for sustainable agriculture investment for both smallholders and commercial investors throughout the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania (SAGCOT). .The use of FY 2015 funds will benefit communities in the Iringa Rural District and the Local Government Authority to clarify, document and certify land ownership and will increase local understanding of land use and land rights on the part of both parties. These activities will increase individual property rights and land security through completion of Village Land Use Plans and the issuance of Certificates of Customary Rights of Occupancy.
