Chapter one of this Law contains definitions of terms therein employed, such as: forest, forest bushes, desert shrubs, forest cover and regions, range, planted rangeland, logs and saplings. Chapter two sets out rules for exploitation and protection of the above mentioned areas. Forestry Organization, established within the Ministry of Agriculture, shall supervise and issue permits for each applicant regarding exploitation of these areas. Licence shall be valid up to one year. According to the text, Forestry Organization may allocate or lease out land for following objectives: scientific research, exhibitions, public parks, breeding and reproducing of animals, training courses, etc. The Forestry Organization will conduct topography studies of the land following the approval of this law. Chapter three deals with taxes and levies received from beneficiaries. Chapter four regulates financial and technical issues of the Law and for management purposes, the High Council for forestry shall be established. The Council (6 members) has the following objectives: a) annual program planning of the Forestry Organization; b) training programs; c) approval of forestry by-laws; d) technical and scientific research; and e) considerations of all matters referred from the Minister of Agriculture or Head of the Organization, which is deputry minister of Agriculture. Every year, the use of income derived from this law will be presented in the report of the annual budget in the parliament. The conversion of forest and rangelands to farms, orchards, plantations, artificial forests, grazing and pasture is the subject of chapter five. The last two chapters realte to offences and penalties. The supply of logs, woods or bushes, grazing causing fire in orchards and ranges, intentional conflagration, uprooting slaps, thorns and trees, transporting of woods and logs, or coal production next to forests without authorization from the Forestry Organization is forbbiden.
