This Act: (1) Replaces settlements created under the Settled Land Act with trusts; (2) abolishes the doctrine of conversion; (3) regulates trusts of land for sale; (4) defines the functions and powers of trustees of land; (4) defines the power of court in relation with trustees; (5) provides for the protection of purchasers of land from requirements of trustees; (6) provides for the appointment and retirement of trustees, and: (7) regulates supplementary matters.
