This Regulation provides instructions on the protection of agricultural land. Article 2 defines some terms used in the provisions of this Regulation. Article 3 states the different kinds of agricultural land this law is concerned with. In order to implement the provisions of this Regulation the Minister of Agriculture is establishing a technical committee which includes representatives from many different Ministries ( Environment, water and Irrigation). One of the main duties of this committee is to check the compliance of the lands to physical and chemical properties in accordance with the annexes attached to this Regulation. Article 7 prohibits the transfer of any types of agricultural soils unless licensed and authorized by the authorities concerned . Any violations to the provisions of this Regulation shall be penalized according to the Agriculture Law No. 22 of 2004 .
