NAEZ Project Proposal's goal is to improve monitoring and analysis of agricultural production system by strengthening land resources information management systems and Agro-Ecological Zones (AEZ) to support agricultural policies and climate-change adaptation in Afghanistan. The related outcomes that FAO foresees are: an established National Agro-Ecological Zones (NAEZ), the creation of an integrated database and information system, the national institutions' developed capacity in producing, managing, analyzing and using the outputs of the assessment to support evidence-based decisions in the planning and management of the agricultural sectors and natural resources.
