We provide independent, professional advice to organisations looking to scrutinise their aid programmes. Our work provides accountability to the ultimate funders of the programmes, whether they are taxpayers or philanthropists, as well as learning for the broader international community to improve the way that development is done.

We are a team of consultants and professional support staff based in Brighton. We are a skills-led team. We share a core set of well-honed skills in the broad area of results measurement and management. Our team has experience across a wide range of development themes and countries. 

We want the resources invested in international development to have the greatest possible impact on people’s lives. We provide the insight and ideas to ensure that they do.

We work to make international development as effective as possible and ultimately to improve more lives. We have done so since 1984. This means giving organisations the information and insight they need to make development work smarter and produce better results.
