Mr. Abukashawa is skilled in conflict resolution, working in land management in conflict areas, experienced in innovative and low-cost mapping. Salah led strategy development for many sectors in Sudan and other countries, He is the founder of ISTIDAMA (Centre for Land and Environmental Governance in Sudan), He worked as a Strategy manager in the Ministry of Physical Planning and development, He is a Senior Consultant for Arab Land Initiative /GLTN Leading the analysis of the capacity of the Arab Land professionals, He is conducting a research on community – investor’s relationships in land related investment with group of researchers in many sub-Saharan African coordinated by LANDac, the Netherlands. He led the GLTN Darfur Land Administration Assessment: Analysis and Recommendations. He worked as Land Expert for Examining the Urban Land Nexus and Inclusive Urbanisation in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, and Khartoum, DFID program in African cities.
