Since 2017 I have worked as land tenure specialist in IFAD's Strategy and Knowledge Department, where I conduct land tenure-related research, knowledge management and I provide technical support to IFAD’s operations. I defended my PhD thesis in December 2017 at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, with a research project on the impact of large-scale land-based investments on rural households in Ethiopia and Tanzania. I also conducted research work at the Universities of Hamburg and Bologna, as well as at development research institutes in Mumbai and Dar es Salaam. Previous work experiences include the Forestry Economic Unit at FAO and WWF Madagascar.
