Peters
Pauline E. Peters is a social anthropologist and retired faculty member of the Department of Anthropology and the Kennedy School, Harvard University. Since her retirement from teaching in 2008, she has continued her research as a Fellow of the Center for African Studies and of the Center for International Development at Harvard. Her research has concentrated on countries in southern Africa, including Malawi and Botswana, and her publications are on land, rural economy, kinship and gender.
