Second Land Administration Project

The project aims to strengthen the property rights of the population in the project areas (Departments of Nueva Segovia, Jinotega, Madriz, Chinandega, Esteli and Leon) through improved regularization, titling, and registry services, and to improve Nicaragua's capacity to respond promptly and effectively to an eligible emergency.

On land tenure specifically, the project will support the strengthening of key land administration agencies, land regularization, the strengthening of indigenous peoples' land rights, and the demarcation of protected areas.
