This platform is a framework for the meeting, networking, information, exchanging experiences, and developing the potential of young people for land governance that promotes development in Africa.
We value the potential of young people for land governance; create the synergy of action between youth associations to become an international Youth network for the promotion and protection of the rights of young people and women; help young people identify and benefit from opportunities relating to state projects and support training and research for young people in the land sector.
About Landesa
Landesa partners with governments and local organizations to ensure that the world’s poorest families have secure rights over the land they till. Founded as the Rural Development Institute, Landesa has helped more than 105 million poor families gain legal control over their land since 1967. When families have secure rights to land, they can invest in their land to sustainably increase their harvests and reap the benefits—improved nutrition, health, and education—for generations.
Reviving Documentation of Property Rights
Cadasta Foundation is dedicated to the support, continued development and growth of the Cadasta Platform – an innovative, open source suite of tools for the collection and management of ownership, occupancy, and spatial data that meets the unique challenges of this process in much of the world.
COLANDEF LAND AND PROPERTY RIGHTS (COLANDEF)
COLANDEF is a non-governmental organisation established, registered and operating in Ghana since November 2004.
We aim at improving land governance and the management of natural resources; enhance local governance systems; and better gender mainstreaming besides policy advocacy.
MISSION
The vision of the Land Portal Foundation is to improve land governance to benefit those with the most insecure land rights and the greatest vulnerability to landlessness through information and knowledge sharing.
