The enactments mentioned in Schedule 1 to this Act shall have effect subject to the amendments there specified (being amendments consequential on the re-enactment of provisions in the consolidation Acts). The transitional provisions, transitory provisions and savings contained in Schedule 2 to this Act shall have effect.

El presente Reglamento tiene por objeto las prescripciones que deben cumplimentarse para la corta, destrucción, eliminación o menoscabo de árboles y arbustos nativos, en bosque nativo, y la corta, destrucción o descepado de árboles, arbustos y suculentas, en formaciones xerofíticas. El fin perseguido es el de proteger los suelos, manantiales, cuerpos y cursos naturales de agua y humedales declarados sitios prioritarios de conservación o sitios Ramsar.

These Regulations amend the principal Regulations of 1994 by updating a reference to Community legislation and by adjusting the annual rate payable on land set aside and which is covered by undertakings of farmers on land management in nitrate sensitive areas. The 1994 Regulations were made pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) 2078/92 and implemented in part a zonal programme approved thereunder. This Regulation has been amended twice, namely by Commission Regulation 746/96 and Commission Regulation 435/97.

Land Tenure Working Paper 21. This paper draws on proceedings of a meeting held to discuss the impact of growing private sector investments in land, fisheries and forests. This meeting, aimed at the private sector, took place at FAO headquarters on 28 February and 1 March 2011. The resources reviews are based on technical reports prepared prior to and during the Workshop in Cumaná, Venezuela and during previous meetings of the stock assessment experts of the WECAFC Ad Hoc Working Group on Shrimp and Groundfish Resources in the Brazil-Guianas Shelf.

Mountain lakes and streams are a source of freshwater for countless riparian human communities, support industries, provide water for irrigation and hydropower electricity production and for fish.
