These Regulations issued by the Regulation and Supervision Bureau for the water, wastewater and electricity sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi concern design, construction, use and maintenance of fuel storage tanks. The aim of these Regulations is to ensure the prevention and early detection of any fuel release from fuel storage tanks and to minimize the risk of fuel releases affecting the environment and public health.

This Land Degradation Neutrality National Report is a national policy with a sectoral approach. The timeframe of the Plan is 15 years between 2016 and 2030. The overall goal of the policy is to ensure soil improvement and conservation.Agricultural productivity will be increased through land improvement in order to meet the food demand.Rural employment will be enhanced through agricultural development. This Second National Environment Action Plan is a nation-wide sectoral document that provides a framework to guide the efforts in ensuring that the Maldives continues to develop in a sustainable manner. The approach taken in the formulation of this NEAP II results in drawing out a number of key issues which need to be addressed and then identifying appropriate responses to them. The aim of this Action Plan is to protect and preserve the environment of the Maldives, and to sustainably manage its resources for the collective benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations.

This Regulation sets forth technical and administrative procedures and principles to prevent soil contamination, locate the contaminated areas and sectors, and to monitor and clean the contaminated soil and sites in line with the sustainable development goals.

This Regulation of the Minister of the Environment establishes: the list of substances particularly harmful to water environments and causing water pollution; rules on sewage testing; methods of analysis and procedure for verifying if the conditions are fulfilled; conditions which must fulfilled when inserting sewage into water or soil, including maximum permitted values of pollution and conditions applicable to the agricultural use of sewage.

These Regulations are enacted in accordance with the Hot Spring Act.The Regulations provide for land-use zoning and land-use change procedures within hot spring areas. A change of land use within the boundaries of a hot spring area shall be subject to the procedures for change of zoning and land use as stipulated in the Regional Planning Law, the Urban Planning Law, the National Parks Law, and other applicable laws and regulations.

This National Water Resources Management Strategy (NWRMS) sets out the strategy to plan, develop, manage, protect and control the use of South Africa's water resources effectively for the future. This shall be achieved through an improved institutional framework, strengthening our sector capacity, and through various mechanisms and concepts, such as water re-use and water off-setting.

The Act regulates industrial emissions in Estonia. Its purpose is to achieve a high level of protection of the environment taken as a whole by minimizing emissions into air, water and soil and the generation of waste in order to prevent adverse environmental impacts.
